M76 Parachute Helmet Heads (BAOR20)

M76 PARACHUTE HELMET HEADS.

These helmets started to replace the old WW2 helmet in 1979 and are seen side by side with the older helmet in the Falklands War.

Some Territorial infantry units that were trained in the armoured reconnaissance roll did manage to get their hands on some of these and wear them.   

Also used by the Israeli and Indian Paratroops.
